The Cowboy Festival Presented By The City of Santa Clarita

The City of Santa Clarita kicks off the spring event season with the world-renowned Cowboy Festival. Recognized as one of the best in the world, the Cowboy Festival is a throw back to the days of saloons and street duels, whisking visitors back in time to enjoy the sights, sounds, and cuisine of the American West. The 2011 festival takes place April 28-May 1 and includes several events throughout the Santa Clarita Valley, including a Chuck wagon Dinner Show, an intimate concert at William S. Hart Museum, the unveiling of stars on the Walk of Western Stars, and the ever-popular Western style dinner under the stars at Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio.

The main festival is set for Saturday and Sunday (April 30-May 1) when visitors are invited to Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio, a real working movie ranch, to enjoy authentic Western food, music, gear, books, and more. For a full schedule of events and list of performers, or to purchase tickets, visit CowboyFestival.org or call (661) 286-4021.
